Jeff Sewell
Jeff is a 1996
graduate of Liberty County High School. Upon graduating high school, he
attended Tallahassee Community College and Florida State University where he
received his A.A. and Bachelor’s Degree. His educational career began as
a teacher and he then transitioned to the Middle School Guidance Counselor at
W.R. Tolar School in 2007. After 3 years
as a guidance counselor, he received his Master’s in Educational Leadership
from the American College of Education and moved into school administration. As a site-based administrator, Jeff was
blessed to work as an Assistant Principal at W.R. Tolar and later as the
Principal at Hosford School. His career in education next took Jeff to the
Florida Department of Education (FLDOE). During his 5 years with FLDOE he served in several state leadership
roles which include: School Improvement Coordinator, Regional Assistant
Director, Director of School Improvement, and the Executive Director of School
Improvement.
Jeff is married
to Desirae Sewell and they have 2 children, Sydney and Gracey. He is an
active member of Corinth Baptist Church in Hosford, FL and serves as the Youth
Leader there. He enjoys fishing, all sports, and spending time with his
family & friends. His favorite Bible verse is Romans 5:8.
